In 2023, a visionary named Greg, along with his cycling comrades from Tempo Cyclisme, set out on a mission to fulfill a dream—one that transcended personal achievements and embraced a collective vision of giving back to the community. The result? The birth of The Tempo Project. Little did they know that their shared passion for cycling would ignite a spark that would spread rapidly through the local community.
At the core of The Tempo Project is the belief that every child deserves the simple joy of owning a bicycle. We understand that a bike is not just a mode of transportation; it symbolizes freedom, empowerment, and the pure exhilaration of childhood. In our inaugural year, thanks to the overwhelming support from the community, we proudly donated 75 bikes to local kids during the holiday season. It was a testament to the power of collective action and the generosity that resides within our community.
The resonance of our cause was felt far and wide, as the community rallied around us with open hearts and outstretched hands. Volunteers, local businesses, and community leaders joined forces with The Tempo Project, forming a powerful alliance committed to making a difference. Year one was a resounding success, but it was only the beginning.
The need is evident, with over 400 requests pouring in from local families during the last holiday season alone. The desire to bring joy to more kids and make a lasting impact is the driving force behind our ongoing efforts. As we gear up for 2024, The Tempo Project is setting an ambitious goal: to donate a minimum of 120 bikes to kids in need. The wheels are in motion, and we are working tirelessly to meet this demand, ensuring that every child who wishes for a bike receives one.
